  • Typically sessions are either 55-minutes or 85-minutes. I recommend an 85-minute session for trauma reprocessing sessions. However, we will discuss your needs and goals and identify the session length that best serves where you are at today.

I also offer individual and relationship intensives for therapy participants who would like to do the work in a condensed time period. These are offered at a prorated rate based off my current fee.

  • Typically, sessions occur weekly. However, there are times where twice a week or a different cadence may better serve you. We will discuss your needs alongside what is clinically appropriate and decide what is best for you. We will move forward with the flexibility to adjust as needed.

I offer longer and/or more frequent sessions if it is desired. Please reach out and inquire further for more information.

You can ask any questions you need and we will see if we are a good fit!

If so - we will schedule our first session and move forward accordingly. If there is something or someone that may better serve you, I will provide resources and help connect you!

  • EMDR stands for Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing, but it’s less about the technical name and more about how it helps your nervous system process what’s stuck.

While EMDR was developed as a modern psychotherapy, some of its core elements - such as rhythmic bilateral stimulation, guided attention shifting, and embodied healing - echo long-standing practices found in various Indigenous traditions that use movement, rhythm, and focused awareness to process distress and restore balance.

EMDR uses bilateral stimulation (like guided eye movements, tapping, or sounds alternating left-right) to help the brain and body reprocess stored traumatic material in a more integrated, adaptive way.

  • A therapy intensive is a focused, extended block of therapy - often lasting several hours in a day or spread over a couple days - designed to create deeper, more sustained work than what’s possible in a traditional 55-minute session. During an intensive, we slow down and create space to explore underlying patterns, process emotions, and practice new tools without the usual time pressure or breaks between meetings.

This format can be especially helpful when you feel “stuck” in weekly therapy, are navigating a big life transition, or want to make meaningful progress in a shorter period of time. The extended time allows us to go even deeper beyond surface-level problem-solving and truly integrate insight and change.

  • A superbill is a detailed, itemized invoice for therapy services that includes specific information required by insurance companies.

It serves as a receipt for clients who pay the therapist directly, allowing the therapy participant to submit a claim to their insurance for out-of-network benefits/reimbursement.

  • I believe finances should not hinder or get in the way of quality care. I offer sliding scale rates on an as-needed basis. Sliding scale spots are limited, so please let me know if you are seeking that form of support when you reach out :)
